Dates

In 2018 we are running three holidays for 11-13 year olds (yrs6-8)

A       15 July - 23 July (£470)

B       24 July - 1 August (£450)

C       3 August - 11 August (£425)

To see what the camps are like, here's our video from 2017!

Cost

The costs quoted above include full board and all activities. This does not include the cost of travel to and from the holiday. For more information about costs, please contact the office directly.  If the cost of the camp would prevent you from coming please do contact the Holidays Coordinator regarding a bursary. To avoid disruption to groups and activities, we are unable to accept bookings for only part of the holiday.

People

Between 60 and 70 young people come on each of the holidays drawn from a variety of Independent Schools with which we have links. Do enquire to find out if we have links with a particular school.

There are lots of newcomers on every holiday and we work hard to provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Each person is part of a small group of boys or girls with two or three Leaders assigned to look after them. Activities are often done together with those in the same small group.

The holidays are led by Revd John Miller, assisted by a large team of volunteers including many school teachers and undergraduates.

Location

Our Junior Holidays are held at Sandroyd School, a beautiful countryside setting with lots of venues for activities nearby and not far from the coast.

The food is always a highlight of camp and is provided by our own team of volunteer cooks. There is healthy, home-made food in plentiful supply! We are able to cater for different dietary needs by prior arrangement.
