Rev'd Anthony Bewes

Team Leader

Anthony studied history and politics at Birmingham University before doing youth work at a church in the East End.  This was followed by a spell teaching and working as a chaplain’s assistant in his old school. Theological college and parish ministry followed before he joined the Lymington Rushmore team and moved to Oxford.

He loves … his wife, their four children, their dog and the game after which he was named, Padder.  In his spare time he watches his children playing sport he used to be able to play and contents himself with the sports he still can – golf and real tennis!  He also loves every opportunity to encourage people to think about the person of Jesus and what it might look like to follow him today.

Simon Tomkins

Junior Holidays Leader

Simon is married to Nikki, and they have 5 boys. Before joining the LR staff team, he was a vicar near Stoke-on-Trent, and still can’t quite believe his job is now to help run these amazing holidays. He enjoys running, rowing and other sports that don’t require too much hand-eye coordination.

Heidi Taylor

Staff Worker

Heidi is completely new to all things Lymington Rushmore and is delighted to be joining the team. She trained as a Social Worker before spending nearly five years working for a church in Hampstead, where she particularly enjoyed supporting women and helping to run summer camps.

Heidi enjoys musicals, singing at all times and in all places and muddy countryside walks with string “we’re going on a bear hunt” vibes. While she doesn’t yet have a dog of her own, she has borrowed many and would happily add a furry friend one day.

Isaac West

Staff Worker

Isaac studied Geography at Cambridge, worked as a ministry intern at a church, completed a Master’s degree in Conservation Ecology, and now works for the LR team! He enjoys playing most sports, especially football and spikeball, hosting friends for meals, watching Arsenal and playing perudo. He is particularly obsessed by the wonders of bird migration and birdsong.

Tabby Hill

Associate

Tabby studied Sports Science at Durham University, where she first heard about Lymington Rushmore, and before long ended up on camp. She loves sport, mainly squash and sailing, as well as listening to lots of music. She is excited to have joined the staff team and have a job chatting to people about Jesus!

Isla Cohen

Operations and Events Coordinator

10 years since Isla first came as a camper, she is now so excited to have joined the staff team. Since leaving University in Canada, Isla has worked all around Oxford in both education and ministry. She loves hosting friends and watching too much TV. She dreams of one day owning a golden retriever.

Phoebe Paget

Finance Officer

Phoebe moved to Oxford in 2018 to work for the Titus Trust, having graduated from Durham University in 2014 with a degree in Anthropology & Archaeology, and then working in London. She loves playing netball, baking, sailing, tennis, watching rugby and spending time with her husband, Harry, who works at a prep school in Oxford.
