Wondering what to do with your holidays? We’re looking for students and school leavers to join us as Assistant Leaders.

Come and be part of a team helping out with the practical tasks on our holidays, as well as having an opportunity to explore or grow in the Christian faith. Each week also has plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy time with old and new friends.

Who

Being an AL is for anyone who’s left school and wants to enjoy a fantastic week where they can:

  • ENJOY …friendships with people at a similar age and stage
  • GROW …in knowledge and love of Jesus through main meetings, tailor-made talks and bible studies
  • SERVE …by doing practical tasks in the house, dining room and kitchen

What

The work that the ALs do ‘behind the scenes’ frees up the leaders to run activities and to care for the young people who come on our holidays.  During the camp you’ll be part of a practical team, either in the house or the kitchen.  The mornings are usually taken up with doing AL duties, such as cleaning or washing up, and then there’s some time off to relax in the afternoons.  As well as that, there are talks, Bible studies and seminars to help you think through the Christian faith further for yourself.

Where

Our Easter Revision Week takes place at Sandroyd School. During the summer, we have teams of Assistant Leaders on both our Junior Holidays (at Sandroyd School) and our Senior Holidays (at Forres Sandle Manor).

How much?

Leaders and Assistant Leaders all contribute to the cost of running Lymington Rushmore Holidays so that we can keep the cost for the campers as low as possible.  £225 covers the cost of your board and accommodation.  If you would like to stay for any extra holidays then the additional cost is £100. This is payable in one go or over monthly installments if that is easier.  We do provide bursaries if the cost would prevent you from coming – please contact the office for further details.
